From my point of view, both Democrats and Republicans are firmly on the right wing.

Plato pointed out - in The Republic and The Statesman - that a wise balance is required.

And that's exactly what we see in those countries which have better living standards than America. Education, literacy, health, wealth, happiness, longevity, freedom, democracy.

America is a long way down in all of those.

Who would have thought, at the end of the Second World War, that the acknowledged leader of the free world would be a German woman?

And that the American head of state would be sucking up to the Russian president-for-life, praising him for killing American soldiers? How shameful.
