If someone came up to you and offered a million dollars for your happiness, would you accept? Kind of defeats the purpose, I guess. We think we will be happy when we have money, or collect the complete set of Disney figurines, or marry that hunky guy.
Well, okay. What about a hundred dollars? Deal or no deal?
Not so much of a bargain, is it?
And yet I see people every day who get angry if they lose a dollar. Fell down the street drain and washed away and now they are angry and frowning. Definitely not happy.
Or even smaller things. Mislay your phone for a moment, look out and see it's raining, find the dog has eaten your unattended sandwich.
Happiness vanishes for a small price.
And what's the point? Isn't a happy life what everybody wants?
