I watched Breaking Bad and loved it. Some dark themes, for sure, but it was superbly written and plotted, with many subplots and fascinating characters.
So, like you, I was keen to continue the journey with Better Call Saul. Not surprisingly, the show was written as well as— if not better than — its predecessor. Jimmy/Saul turned out to be a far more complex character than BrBa indicated. Likewise Mike Ehrmantraut.
I’m eagerly awaiting the final season, but in the meantime, I’ve been taking advantage of the iso to watch BrBa for the third time, to get all the characters straight in my head.
