It amazes me that Americans regard Australia as full of dangerous animals. We don't have any mammals that will actually hunt you down and devour you, and you seem to have venomous snakes by the bucketload.

As it happens, though, I'm writing a story about snakes right now. Just hang on an hour while I finish my research.
