And I have spent far too little time in India, but what time there was, was fascinating, enchanting, enlightening.
There is far too much knowledge in the world for it to be crammed into any one head. That is why we have books, and systems for organising them.
And there is certainly a place for entertainment and imagination. Would we suffer to listen to Krishna advise Arjuna if it were not for the thrilling context of conflict and drama?
Would we learn anything from Sita if there were not monkeys and demons and princes drawing us into the tale?
