James, when you're in a hole, stop digging. I remember reading that or a similar story at the time and being glad that somebody was porking holes in the façade of a bunch of bigots.

In these days, exposing these scoundrels is good work, and I'm proud of you for doing it. More power to you, and may you have more success in that line.

A regular person would say, "Oh yeah, that! I forgot about it, it was a hoot, let me tell you the story."

But if you are one of those people - like Don Trump - who cannot admit a simple error or lapse of memory, then say so, and that's fine.

There's no point arguing with someone like Trump; they never accept that they could possibly be in the wrong, and if one presents indisputable evidence, then they can't handle it inside and have a spectacular meltdown, and that's too much like torture for me to do it.
