No, very good point. I use Duplichecker.com, and it pulls up the websites where it finds duplicated text.

I checked one story, and it pointed me to a site where the exact same text was to be found. On asking the writer to explain, she said that she wrote for that site as well. Same writer name, and Medium allows republishing like this, so that was okay. These need to be investigated by a human being.
