You know, California was what got me started. I used to write a travel blog, years ago, and of course I’d read others to see how it was done. There were, like a million of them. One article caught my eye, about a sweet B&B in Mendocino.

I read it, and I read dimly through the lines that perhaps the writer and her partner had had more of a good time in the sweet accommodation than they were willing to tell in a family publication. Hmmm, I thought, why not? I’d read *that* article!
