I'm reasonably familiar with the theory of I Ching. It sounds odd, but I can see how it works.

I came to it through studying the Tao te Ching, which is a marvellous book. Still trying to find the one true translation, but the ones I like are those by Red Pine, Thomas Cleary, and a poetic version by Ursula K Le Guin.
