The more I look into American politics, the more I see something systemically wrong. When a minority sees their positions of power and influence as worth destroying the ideals of their nation over, then that is not a recipe for any sort of fair society.

Subverting democracy in order to maintain gerrymanders has only one logical end, and it's mot pretty. Stacking the courts to present the illusion of justice without the reality leads down the same path.

I have never found people anywhere to be permanent fools en masse. At some point they topple over an unjust system and it all gets very unpleasant for a while. Like a couple of generations.

Americans would do well to contemplate that their own nation was born in revolution.
