I watched a few of the episodes. I like Ricky, and I loved the concept of The Invention of Lying, but I found After Life irritating.
That TYSBG concept that somehow physical bodies and their memories and personalities and habits can be recreated is nonsense. How does it work? How does (say) a person living in Hiroshima and extinguished so completely that all that is left is a shadow burnt into the stone somehow return with everything intact? And why?
While I realise that fiction is a way of examing humanity, rather than a treatise on reality, still these things irritate me.
